Lessons & Classes
Both of our guitar instructors are real, gigging musicians with a wide range of combined skills and life experiences. At Chords & Voices, beginners and intermediate students will be exposed to rock, blues, funk, neo-soul, metal, country and classical on both electric and acoustic guitars. Advanced students will learn secrets and subtleties of the music industry from a Grammy and multiple Dove award winning artist and music industry veteran.
Students will progress from simple songs and melodies, to chords, riffs and solos, and complex textures of music. We use guitar method books that make learning the theory easy and fun. We also encourage students to bring music loaded on their devices to their lessons so they can learn their favorite tunes.
Like our guitar instructors, our bass teacher is a gigging musician prepared to teach you from introduction to mastery. Students will learn blues, contemporary, country and classical styles on both electric and acoustic basses. Beginners work on simple songs, melodies and familiar riffs, sight reading and theory. Each lesson will challenge you with a new technique or concept, and end with something fun – such as your favorite riff or song. We use method books based on student needs and preferences, and encourage students to bring music loaded on devices to the lessons to figure outsmartphones or CDs to their lessons to learn their favorite tunes.
Piano Lessons
Chords & Voices is the ideal place to start your journey toward become a pianist. Our teachers are skilled at making fundamentals fun while simplifying complex musical ideas. We incorporate your favorite songs into the lessons right away, which builds excitement and confidence. We leverage technology, using tools designed to teach in the 21st century. With a simple full-size electronic keyboard, and the web-based technology we use, beginners can move quickly into skills that once took much longer to master.
Piano students can take group, virtual or individual lessons. Group lessons offer a phenomenal value for the money, providing students with all the benefits of a small cohort, including projects, duets and group performance pieces, and frequent opportunities to collaborate and perform for and with classmates.

Our instructors are veteran music educators with decades of experience in helping students explore and discover their musical abilities. In Chords & Voices' early childhood music courses, parents learn as much as students about how to create the conditions that expand young minds.

YCV Choir (New!)
Youth with Chords and Voices is a dynamic group of 3rd grade through 8th grade singers, rappers and actors, from all around Southeast Metro Nashville area. The YCV choir will be recording original songs, cover songs, and creating short movies and music videos for YouTube and other media outlets.
If you or someone you know is in that age-range and is interested in performing with a soulful, pop-oriented ensemble with high aspirations, auditions are by appointment throughout the month of September. The
