Policies
We aim to create an environment where students will grow the most musically and get the greatest value for their educational dollar. We also want our teachers to enjoy every minute of their experience teaching C&V students. This page outlines some of the policies intended to keep our operation running smoothly.

Fees and Payment Methods
Fees
Each standard 50 minute group lesson is $25.

The second student in a family will receive a 20% discount on the enrollment fee. The third will receive a 30% discount.
Standard Virtual lessons may have up to 8 people. The lessons are 30 to 50 minutes. Cost is $25.
Payments are made on the website via credit or debit card or bank draft.
Cash will not be handled at the site.
Make Up Lessons
Students must communicate the need to postpone a lesson at least 12 hours before the lesson time. Postponed lessons must be rescheduled within the same quarter with the teacher, or another teacher teaching a similar section (instrument and proficiency level). The teacher providing the make up lesson must have an available seat. Lessons not postponed within 12 hours of the lesson time will be forfeited.
Students forfeit lessons not made up within a quarter (a period of 3 months from the postponed lesson) unless specific arrangements are made with the school administrator.
Behavior
At Chords and Voices, students are expected to be respectful, responsible and safe.
Respectful means using kind, appropriate words, body language, and cyber-communication with instructors, classmates and anyone else present.
Responsible means showing up on-time for class, with necessary materials, having completed assignments and put in practice time.
Safe means using equipment the way it was intended, gently and carefully, refraining from horseplay, observing good hygiene by washing hands often, and being careful not to expose personal identifying data (PID) during virtual communications.
